Cal Pallerola is a rural tourism accommodation that welcomes us in the Lavansa valley, in the heart of the Pyrenees, at the foot of the Cadí. In the village of Montargull it forms an independent unit, with plenty of outdoor space, a children's playroom with terrace, a table-tennis area and sun loungers and a large summer kitchen with barbecue for dining. outdoors but indoors. Next door a chillout to enjoy the cool of summer and the warmth of the winter sun. We can stay if we are from 4 to 13 people. La Serra has 5 places, and La Verneda 8 places. We are close to the ski slopes of Tuixent-Lavansa (cross-country skiing and snowshoeing) and Port del Comte. In the valley we can visit the Museum of the Trementinaires in Tuixent, do workshops on aromatic herbs and jams in Ossera, or enjoy an excursion to the Romanesque St Julià dels Garrics, near the gorge of Riu de Good. Other places of interest: weekly market and Romanesque cathedral of La Seu d 'Urgell, cheese factory in Josa del Cadí, Gósol picassià and St. Llorenç de Morunys.
We are in the valley of the turpentine trees. In Ossera we find Suzette, who has been working with aromatic plants in an ecological way for many years, and has a wide range of herbs that she processes for infusions, spices for cooking, ointments, soaps … As a good wise woman organizes workshops and courses that will instruct us in this art, while enjoying a weekend in nature. It offers guided tours and one-morning workshops, or one- to three-day courses. Theme: natural cosmetics, soap making, cooking with plants, minimum 6 people.
In the heart of the Pre-Pyrenees we find Ossera, a land of herbs and jams: Núria de cal Casal has been making a wide variety of jams since 1979, her wisdom is reflected in the palate of each of these formulas, but they are no secret! through their workshops we will learn the tricks, and we will end with a well-deserved tasting in the magnificent setting of its era. It prepares workshops in the morning (jams for an aperitif) or in the afternoon (for snacks), during the spring and summer season, as well as guided tours of the workshop. Minimum about 8 people.
