Who are we?

EPirEMed is a cross-border cooperation project that takes a step forward in the tourist integration of the territories of the Eastern Pyrenees on both sides of the border between France and Catalonia.

Through collaboration between different public and private tourism entities, Epiremed offers cross-border tourism products based on sustainability, quality and added value for both tourists and the territory, linking rural and mountain tourism with the alternatives of sustainable transport.

The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Interreg VA Spain-France-Andorra Program (POCTEFA 2014-2020), which aims to strengthen the economic and social integration of the Spain-France-Andorra border area.

Project Interreg Poctefa

The project has been 65% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Spain-France-Andorra Interreg V-A Program (POCTEFA 20214-2020). The objective of the PCTEFA is to strengthen the economic and social integration of the Spain-France-Andorra border area. Its assistance focuses on the development of cross-border economic, social and environmental activities through joint strategies for sustainable territorial development.

POCTEFA 2014-2020 is the fifth generation of community financial support aimed at strengthening the economic and social integration of this area. POCTEFA co-finances cross-border cooperation projects designed and managed by actors on both sides of the Pyrenees and coastal areas participating in the Program, preserving the intelligent, sustainable and inclusive development of the territory.
