Casa Xep

Casa Xep is located in the village of Taüll, in the Vall de Boí, belonging to the Alta Ribagorça in the western Catalan Pyrenees. Taüll which is at an altitude of 1,500 meters is the typical high mountain village with stone houses. and the slate roofs, surrounded by formidable mountains up to 3,000 meters high, whose slopes are protected by lush forests of imposing conifers and cool alpine meadows watered by powerful torrents. Some of these magnificent lands and landscapes are within the protection of the Aigüestortes National Park and Sant Maurici Lake. There are plenty of activities to do in this park as there are many walking routes. In winter, everything is covered by a blanket of snow, which is the basis for skiing in all its forms. All this can be done at the Boí-Taüll station located 10 km from the village and where we can find a wide range of possibilities to enjoy in the snow. Casa Xep is located in the town square in front of the Romanesque church of Santa Maria of the s. XII that together with Sant Climent de Taüll and all the other Romanesque churches of the Vall de Boí have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Casa Xep is a house restored and rehabilitated as a farmhouse residence, retaining its charm and rustic decoration of the high mountain house. Inside, wood is the required material. It consists of five rooms, four of which are doubles and one triple. It has three shared bathrooms for five bedrooms and a kitchen with a living room with a sofa, TV and fireplace. In all these services customers will have free access.
