La Perxada de Ticó is located in the small village of Boldís Sobirà at the top of the Vall de Sant Miquel, a secondary valley in the upper part of the Vall de Cardós, in the Pallars Sobirà. A high mountain area where you can enjoy the tranquility of rural and livestock life.
It consists of two independent village houses with 4 places each located on two different floors of the same building and built from the rehabilitation of an old barn, a “perch”, Casa Ticó. They have been rebuilt using the typical stone of the area for the exterior facades, and interior decoration with wood.
The privileged location of Boldís offers its visitors magnificent views of the Valley, as well as being at the gates of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, and in the same region as the Aigüestortes National Park and Sant Maurici Lake. In our house we breed horses of the autochthonous Catalan Pyrenean Horse breed, there is the possibility of seeing them. In summer they graze freely in the high mountain meadows, but the rest of the year they are near the village, in spring it is very likely that you will see the newborn chicks.
The GR11 long-distance path that crosses the Pyrenees from its source in the Empordà to the Basque Country passes through our town, from Boldís Sobirà you can walk small sections of this path that are signposted. It is also a great starting point for excursions and walks. You can also visit the lakes in our area. In winter, the ski spots of Tavascan, Espot and Port-Ainé are right here. With the possibility of making snowshoe excursions, leaving the same Boldís Sobirà.
Stay at our house and immerse yourself in the tranquility of rural and livestock life in the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, enjoying the silence and the landscape that surrounds us. All year round you will be able to experience new sensations in the natural environment: in the spring the births of the horses of our Catalan Pyrenean Horse farm, in the middle of the flowers of a thousand and one colors; in summers excursions to lakes and natural pastures, in autumn you will see the full range of colors of tree leaves and listen to deer and fallow deer, and in winter you step on the white of the snow.
