Mas Molladar

A rustic and comfortable 15th century farmhouse with a heated pool on a spectacular terrace with views. We are located in a valley within the area of special protection of the Espai d’Interes Natural de la Alta Garrotxa, very close to the charming Chapel of Sant Valentí de Salarsa.

We have 5 comfortable rooms of different capacities with private bathroom and heating. One of the doubles has a private terrace. The house has a dining room, another room with sofas and television, and a games room with a wood stove and table tennis. The large outdoor spaces have many corners to sit quietly and contemplate the landscape of the valley. The outdoor pool is normally heated from the end of April to November, and has 3 different types of massage jets. It has a hinged cover to allow bathing in the spring and autumn months, even in bad weather.

So that guests can relax and enjoy both the house and the excursions and restaurants in the area we provide half board. Our cuisine is characterized by being homemade, mainly Catalan and we use top quality local ingredients. For dinners we prepare a set menu. Vegetarian, vegan and special diets can be ordered in advance. We offer a selection of desserts. The breakfasts are buffet style and very complete, with local sausages, ham, cheese, homemade sponge cake, toast, jams, fruit, juice and yogurt.

The environment that surrounds the house is made up of majestic oak forests and other trees, streams and meadows where cows, sheep, horses and goats graze. You can see birds of all kinds, and sometimes squirrels, moles, badgers and foxes. From the house you can walk to 2 Romanesque chapels within the same valley, or a 2 hour trail leads to the beautiful town of Beget with its ancient church and river bathing areas.

You can bring your dog to enjoy the country walks together.
