LLivins is the first winery in La Cerdanya to be registered in 2017. We have had a vineyard planted since 2012, all under ECO cultivation, being a tall and pioneering viticulture in La Cerdanya. Our vineyard is 1225 meters high and is a benchmark due to climate change. We are in a European data research program, because due to climate change it is expected that the cultivation of the vineyard will need height. We want to recover a traditional agricultural art lost in our region, and help recover added value in the primary sector. We have a winery in the same estate. The height of the estate, the sunshine and the soil provide us with white wines (Sauvignon Blanc) with lots of fruit. We make two wines: Snow White and an Ice Wine (DGEL White). GEl wine is the only one made in the whole state, and we do it taking advantage of our mountain temperatures harvested by hand, at temperatures of -5 or -6ºC, and it is pressed directly in the cellar. It is a small winery and farm with a total production of 4000 bottles (3200 DNEU and 800 DGEL). We do guided tours to people who are interested, and we want to make known the viticultural potential of our region.
Organization of guided tours for small groups on our farm. Our goal is to convey what we do in our winery, and especially how we do it. That is why the activity is divided into 3 parts: The first is a walk through the vineyard, where we explain what we plant, how we do it, why we do it this way, we explain what it means to be ECo and how we do it. The aim is to convey a sensitivity for the Vineyard, the origin of wine without a doubt. The second part shows the winemaking process with an explanatory video and a visit to the winery, where you can follow the entire winemaking process, and finally end with a paired tasting of our wines. the duration is approximately 1.5 hours.
