The Estanys de la Pera Refuge was built in 1956 by the FEEC. It is a cozy refuge where you can enjoy good food and wide views of the Cerdanya and the Sierra del Cadí, because it is located at an altitude of 2,357 m. Its environment, characterized by gently sloping mountains, lakes and waterfall make it an ideal place for families and children. Currently, private car access to the Pollineres car park (located 45 minutes’ walk from the refuge) is only allowed for guests of the refuge, who have a prior reservation for sleeping or eating. The rest of the hikers can access it on foot from the car park of the cross-country ski trails of Aransa, following the marks of the path number 16 of the Cerdanya (6.5km and +600 m, 2h walk), or, by bus available between the 1st of August and the 12th of September. In winter, this place also offers a variety of itineraries for mountain skiing and snowshoeing.
