Confiserie du Tech is a family business founded in 1964. Based in Cabestany (66), it makes confectionery such as nougat and traditional Catalan cookies. Rousquille, a fondant cookie coated with meringue, is its greatest specialty. For Easter and Christmas, it offers molds, chocolate bars and candies. It has two stores in Cabestany on the same site as the production and one in Rivesaltes. It offers both its delicious specialties and a very large range of Roussillon products sourced from local producers selected for their quality and authenticity. In summer, visits are organized to show the products but also the history of the company and its local roots. It is followed by a tasting. A pastry shop was integrated into the Cabestany boutique in 2014 to offer fresh pastries every day made by a team of pastry chefs in front of customers. They are available for sale to take away but also for tasting on site on a large terrace bordering the shop. The biscuits such as the turrets from Confiserie du Tech proudly bear the Sud de France label, which guarantees the quality of the recipes, the sourcing of ingredients mainly made in the region and the know-how of the company.
