Crossing the Turb Refuges
Refugis del Torb is a mountain trek that connects the two most emblematic places in the Eastern Pyrenees: the Núria valley and the Canigó massif. It can be done in a five-day circular route, or up to seven stages if you want to climb the most emblematic peaks between Núria, Coma de Vaca, Ulldeter, Canigó, Pi, Mentet and Carançà. A company manages reservations for accommodation, and provides all the information to make the trip: topographic map of the Alpina publishing house, a route book with the description of the stages, the GPS track, the insurance, and a series of gifts to round out the experience.
This is a hiking product that is in operation when the snow leaves the mountain, usually between June and October. You can find all the information and reservations at www.refugisdeltorb.com
The trip takes place in the territories of Epiremed del Ripollès, Vallespir and Conflent.
In terms of sustainability, we are working on waste minimization, reducing the carbon footprint by stimulating the use of public transport, and we are waiting to be accredited to the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism of the Natural Park of the Headers of the Ter and the Freser. -
Hiking from the Pyrenees to the Sea
A route from Camprodon to Collioure with amazing crests, forests and charming villages.
From the Camprodon valley to the cliffs of the Mediterranean coast, this route in five stages connects the high valleys of the Eastern Pyrenees with the sea. Along the route, we will walk through an exuberant variety of landscapes, from high-mountain terrain to coastal ecosystems, through the lush woods of the hills of Vallespir, la Garrotxa, and l’Empordà, trekking alternatively on either side of the Pyrenees, north and south. This route blends nature with history, as one of the most poignant episodes of the Spanish Civil War took place in this part of the Pyrenees, the Republican withdrawal in 1939. We will be following on the footsteps of the exiles, using the very same points to cross the mountains.
