The festival of murals and rural art aims to provide the village with an injection of life and to combat depopulation. The initiative, which aims to spread artistic culture in the rural world, has made Penelles a benchmark. With five editions of the GarGar festival, the town of Penelles today has 102 rural-themed murals spread throughout the town, which have turned it into a street museum.
