Experiència amb gust de mar per la costa de l’Escala
A unique experience to discover L'Escala that includes a guided maritime route along the coast of the Empúries Sea with a modern boat with very little CO2 emissions and a visit to an anchovy factory in full operation, where we can also taste this exquisite local product! If we think of L'Escala, two things come to mind, the sea and the anchovies. The experience we offer you is to taste the saltiest Escala with a guided sea route along the coast of the Empúries Sea by the hand of a great connoisseur of the territory and with a modern boat that emits very few CO2 emissions and a visit to a fully functioning anchovy factory to get a closer look at this select local product. From the sea we will discover the coast of L'Escala, from Sant Martí d'Empúries to Cala Montgó, passing beaches such as Portitxol, with the legendary Hostal Empúries, or Les Muscleres, Les Barques beach or the coast. of the Planasses, already within the Montgrí Natural Park, Medes Islands and Baix Ter. We will complete the experience with a visit to an anchovy factory that belongs to one of the most traditional families in the field of salting. Here we will learn about the whole process of treating anchovies, from fishing to the dish. We will end the visit with a tasting of anchovies and different products with anchovies as a base.
