The MTB Raid of the 2 Catalonias

The Raid VTT des 2 Catalonias is the first cross-border mountain bike circuit in Europe that unites the Centre VTT du Haut-Vallespir on the French side and the Centre VTT Salines Bassegoda in Alt Emporda in Catalonia. The R2C is a technical trail of high difficulty for experienced mountain bikers.

Distance: 90.8 Kms.

Total elevation gain: +3 390 m.

Schedules and duration

2 Nights – 2 Days of mountain biking.

Day 1: Arriving in Arles sur Tech, you will enjoy an evening in this pretty village which hosts the oldest Carolingian abbey in Catalonia.
Overnight stay and breakfast in an accommodation specialized in sportsmen.
Day 2: Departure from Arles sur Tech, direction Maçanet de Cabrenys. Beautiful climbs await you but also beautiful viewpoints, a beautiful descent in the middle of the chestnut trees, crossing of Coustouges then arrival at Maçanet de Cabrenys where you will settle in a comfortable hotel*** for a convivial evening and a restful night!

Day 3: After breakfast, departure to Amélie-Les-Bains, crossing the border by the Coll de Perelló.

  • 1 Night in a specialized accommodation for sportsmen, on the basis of a double/twin room in Arles-sur-Tech and on a half-board basis (excluding drinks at dinner)
  • 1 Access to the Spa (sauna, hammam, jacuzzi)
  • 1 Picnic to take away for Day 1
  • 1 Night in a Hotel*** on the basis of a double/twin room in Maçanet and half- board (wine at discretion at dinner)
