Live an experience rich in twists in time: from prehistory to discover modern ecology, meet predators and then relax in bucolic places and green spaces.

But also mixing nature and Neolithic sites and relive history from medieval times to World War II in no time. This is the promise of this original 4-day experience that can be extended by one day on option.

By walking, in horse-drawn carriages, canoes, electric scooters or hot-air balloons, transports used will also be as much yesterday as today.

Schedule and duration

Day 1 :

Afternoon : Arrival at your accommodation from 2pm.
Visit of the Tautavel Prehistoric museum.
Return to the establishment, dinner and overnight stay at the guest house.

Day 2 :

Morning : Breakfast at the guest house. Direction Baixas to discover the Catalan ecopark on an electric scooter or via the Explore Game Ecoparc mobile application for a playful discovery on the topic of “Travel through time” (easy level).

Lunch : Free time for lunch. Suggestion : picnic at Ecozonia

Afternoon : Discover predators with Ecozonia in Cases-de-Pène. Unique in Europe, the Ecozonia ecopark is a 26-hectare animal park dedicated to the conservation of predators.
Return to the accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 :

Morning : Breakfast at the accommodation. Then on to way to the Lac du Moulin in Le Soler. With its 4 hectares of surface area, its lake and its numerous facilities, the Lac du Soler is a bucolic place, where it is good to walk. In addition to the playgrounds, children can enjoy the accrobranche course(s) in the middle of nature (accessible from 3 years old). For those who like to discover by an unusual way, we also offer you a ride in electric trotinette on the nature trails of Pézilla-la-Rivière and Villeneuve-la Rivière.

Lunch : Free time for lunch. Possibility to picnic at the Lac du Moulin, which offers picnic tables.

Afternoon : Direction Pézilla-la-Rivière, to discover the Ferme des Colombiers. In addition to the farm animals, children will have access to the inflatable games and the family will enjoy a carriage ride.
Return to your accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 :

Morning : Breakfast at the accommodation. Check-out. Drive to Spain, direction Banyoles.
Stroll around the largest natural lake in Catalonia. Enjoy the timeless landscapes, the serenity and the calm of this timeless place. It takes about 2h30 to walk around the lake. Take advantage of your walk to discover the Parc de la Drag, where the neolithic sites of the same name are located.

Lunch : Free time for lunch. Packed lunch or lunch in one of the small restaurants along the lake.

Afternoon : 2 options are available to you depending on your pace and your desires:
– Slow mode: take advantage of the afternoon to relax in this natural and wild setting and observe a wide variety of birds, fish and plants. As an option, opt for a canoe or kayak session on the lake!
– Discovery mode: head for Besalú (approx. 15 min drive), in the east of La Garrotxa and discover its rich medieval heritage.
Between the Romanesque bridge from the 12th century, the churches of Sant Pere, Santa María, Sant Vicenç and Sant Julià, the Cùria Real building, the Cornellà residence and the Jewish quarter, the place will not leave you indifferent.
Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Option : For the early riser and those who wants to live an unforgettable experience, you can go on the next morning for a flight in a hot-air-ballon ! Flying in a hot-air balloon is a different way of travelling, it’s floating in the air, in peace and silence. Ideal for nature lovers and for those looking for new sensations !

You also have the possibility of extending the stay by one day to book a full day to discover medieval villages.
