EN RUTA GIRONA is an active tourism company that organizes excursions and guides in interpretive hiking in La Garrotxa and its surroundings, and that organizes small events such as cooking workshops or activities to promote teamwork in different spaces. It is a proposal that makes the natural and tourist resources of La Garrotxa available to everyone, paying special attention to those tourist activities that respect and take care of our natural, historical and social environment so as not to compromise it for the future.
We combine slow travel and responsible tourism. We avoid the overcrowding of spaces and the seasonalization of tourist activity, while enjoying the territory in a relaxed and unhurried way. We discover quality and local products while having fun discovering the pleasure of eating well and healthy, and we enjoy and experiment with the gastronomy of our land while promoting the local economy and environmentally friendly activities.
We invite you to go hiking, and together we will explore and discover the most hidden and authentic places in the volcanic region of the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees: La Garrotxa!

We discover different areas of the Garrotxa region and neighboring counties: the spectacular volcanism and the sinuosity of its relief, enchanting agroforestry landscapes, the weight of the history of medieval towns and villages, hermitages hidden in incredible enclaves, the art of modernism in cities and towns, water places to cool off, views from the peaks and natural viewpoints, the most pleasant itineraries … We tell you the history and legends and teach you the nature and culture of a people and a landscape.
We understand that active tourism must be responsible and of quality, where sustainability with the environment and respect for the local economy must have a relevant value. And that's why we practice slow travel and let each customer set the pace, because we are convinced that both the path and the destination are as important: we enjoy the territory intensely in a rested and unhurried way, enhancing those small pleasures of the life we find in the local economy and in environmentally friendly activities.
