Walking through the different routes of exile in the Vall de Camprodon and the Alt Empordà, we will discover the landscapes that keep the memory of hundreds of thousands of people who crossed the Pyrenees fleeing the Civil War. The Paths of Exile will offer us a different point of view of this mountain range: border for a while, but twinning the population on both sides. We will follow in the footsteps of hundreds of thousands of refugees who sought refuge on the other side of the Pyrenees. In the Museum of the Exile of Camprodon we will be able to see the great amount of objects that have been, and still are, in the Valley, witness of these personal histories, that will tell us what it represented for the population, and the best collection of the still living history of this country. In La Vajol, we will follow in the footsteps of Lluís Companys and many others who sought refuge in this passage of the Empordà, where paintings and other objects of great value were also hidden.
