The Catalan road to Compostela

From Perpignan, where St. Francis of Assisi made two stops during his pilgrimage to St. James, take the Way of St. James to the place where the saint had a Franciscan monastery erected.
It crosses the Roussillon wine plain and its villages formed by this agriculture. Along the way, we suggest you stop at organic areas to taste these nectars. It is on the Panissars pass, on the route of the Roman road to Domitia, that the current border is crossed.
The Empordà plain stretches at your feet, you arrive in the small town of Figueres, famous for its museum dedicated to the country’s child, the famous Salvador Dalí.
The Camino de Santiago continues its route to the monastery of Montserrat, an important place on this Catalan road.
