During your zen, slow-paced stay in nature, complete with wine tour, you will try out an electric skateboard on land and the Aquastepper or Waterbike on the sea! The important thing is to observe without making any extra noise, to avoid disturbing the Catalan fauna and flora.

Your walks will take you from Rivesaltes, a town of history, heritage and prestigious vineyards, to the northern Catalan shore at Barcarès. You will also discover the wines of Roussillon and the beauty of the panoramic views of the Agly valley.

After discovering the villages, you will pass through Perpignan and then head to Figueres, to finish off your wine tour in this charming town of the Empordà region.

Schedule and duration

Day 1: Saint-Laurent-de-la-Salanque

Afternoon/evening: Arrival at the 3* hotel and check-in from 2pm.

Departure to Saint-Laurent de la Salanque by bike (approx. 40mn) or by car (approx. 15min).

Electric skateboard ride from St-Laurent-de-la-Salanque to the coast.

Return to the hotel by bike or car. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Rivesaltes

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Go for a walk or bike ride in the historic heart of Rivesaltes, then discover the Rombeau estate (approx. 20 min by foot or 7 min by bike). At the end of the morning, visit the estate and taste 6 wines to introduce you to the rich variety of Roussillon wines.

Lunch: Lunch at the Domaine de Rombeau.

Afternoon/evening: Visit with a video guide of the Rivesaltes Memorial.

Return to the hotel, dinner at the hotel, overnight stay.

Day 3: Barcarès

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Leave for Barcarès for a 1h session, with a choice of Waterbike or Aquastepper (approx. 1h by bike – 20mn by car)

Lunch: Free time for lunch. Here are some restaurant suggestions: La Mer à Table / La Cabane à Cactus / Vin sur Vin / Pizzeria du Grand Large/ Oh Kakou (mussels/fries) / Pizza Bonici / Pizza Tic-tac / Beach club le Gobi (in summer)

Afternoon/evening: activity of choice (everything is reachable by bike). Suggestions:

• Discovery of the Parc des Dosses at your leisure to admire the fauna and flora
• Lounging on the beach of Barcarès (8km of fine sand) or walking along the beach with discovery of the alley of arts and Lydia
• Shaded walk in the Pinède du Barcarès

Return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 4: Espira and Perpignan

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Then departure for a wine walk and tasting of the local AOP wines in Espira.

After collecting your belongings from the hotel, head to Perpignan, the beautiful Catalan city.

Lunch: Free time for lunch. Here are some suggestions for restaurants: La sous-préfète/ L’assiette catalane / Torcatis (Burger) / l’esperanto (pittas)/ Bella Ciao (Italian)

Afternoon/evening: choice of activities:

– Visit of Perpignan by small train (50 min)

– Visit to the Rigaud Museum

– Guided tour of the Palace of the Kings of Majorca

Departure to Figueres. Arrival at the 3 or 4* hotel. Free dinner. Overnight stay.

Day 5: Figueres and surroundings

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit of a small historical village of l’Albera, surrounded by the natural park and an organic wine estate, followed by a wine tasting accompanied by Tapas (duration: 2h30)

Lunch: Free time for lunch. Suggested restaurants: Lizarran (tapas), 9 Suprem (Mediterranean cuisine), Bocam gourmet restaurant, Bon Profit Figueres restaurant (French cuisine), Restaurante Can Jordi (grilled meats), Restaurant la Tagliatella (Italian cuisine).

Afternoon: Visit to the Dali Museum
